Biffree Bromp-Zooz, mascot of the band Sometimes the Monkey, is the party-lovin’ primate (Mono-Hornus Bay-Bay Atelidae) that assists us with creation, libation, and daily mental vacations. This little Mutha Scooter named himself(!) after we rescued him from a sinister poacher while on a bender in the rainforests of Brazil. He was so thankful that he honored both Jeff and Bill by combining our first names to create his own.

The three of us shared some beers, compared life experiences, and Biffree said, “The secret of life is to ‘Be Free’.” Jeff and Bill sat there smiling, realizing just how very true that statement was. Biffree saw us in our wonderment and said, “See what I did there?!? Biffree… Be Free!?!”

He once told us the story of his last name, but we still don’t remember… yet.
